Terai Roots is a heritage-food and regional-agriculture initiative dedicated to preserving the rich agricultural traditions of the Terai belt. We work alongside farming families who have been cultivating indigenous varieties for generations — varieties that never made it to supermarket shelves because they were not commercially viable. We believe that is about to change.
Our work spans seed preservation, farmer partnerships, traditional recipe documentation, and public awareness. Everything we sell is a story of land, people, and tradition.
